First snow of the season

Here are some photos from our first snowstorm of the season (Thursday, December 5th!). We've had 7 days in a row with low temperatures below freezing and these plants have been out for all of it.

LIST OF MORNING LOW TEMPERATURES SINCE THE START OF OUR COLD SNAP

11/30 ... 29F

12/1 ...  25F

12/2 ... 27F

12/3 ... 29F

12/4 ... 26F

12/5 ... 32F

12/6 ... 29F

I was very nervous about my variegated cordyline australis on the left side of this picture. It didn't bounce back when the snow melted, it was totally flat! Miraculously it came back to life though over the next few days

Classic Trachycarpus in snow

Needle palm living it's life

Closeup on the Windmill palm

I was nervous about the 25F morning for my Sago palm, but so far so good

This windmill palm had quite the snowload on it!

Mule palm looking good despite the snow and cold

You don't see Chamadorea surviving in snow too often, but Microspadix is very cold tolerant
