A rainy Staten Island Update

BUT things are about to change! Several days are in the 90s in the forecast, so there should be some really notable growth by the end of the month!

My Hybrid Cycad! Cycas x panzhioluta

Plant delights describes this cycad as "a rarely available hybrid of two winter hardy cycads, Cycas revoluta x Cycas panzhihuaensis."

I purchased this in August 2022. It was VERY slow growing the first year or 2, but this new flush is amazing! It overwinters in the garage.

Bougainvillea and an update at my parents!

My parents needed a drought tolerant plant with lots of color, and this Bougainvillea delivers! I also mix and matched with some succulents to add a little bit of texture and fill out the container.

A peek at the double flower mandevilla too!

Love the double bracts on this one

Thanks for looking!

Stromanthe sanguinea is in bloom!

A new purchase from the Farmingdale State College Plant Sale this year.

Love this plant!
