Mid June Garden Update

The canna musafolia rubra are getting huge and I love the way the clematis is climbing around it

Variegated Crinum

This pretty Pachypodium lamerei (Madagascar Palm) is new to me from last autumn. Its finally sprouting new leaves!

I love a dark leaf dahlia

They overwinter so well in the garage!

These mulla mulla blooms are so cute (Ptilotus exaltatus)

My Peach Mandevilla is off to a slow start. Not my favorite variety for vigor but I just can't help myself with the leaves. Also growing inside is a Dipladanea Fired Up Orange

My Jiro Persimmon has lots of fruit. Usually they ALL fall off in late June. I hope this year they hang on

Echinacea

Here's an update on the cold hardy palms that I either bring into my garage (the plants in containers) or overwinter outside (the ones in the ground!)

My Mule Palm

Brazilian Plume Flower (Justicia carnea)

Chamadorea microspadix

I believe this is a hardy holly fern? Cyrtomium falcatum 'Rochfordianum'
I do have the normal form in my garden as well in the photo below

Fatsia spider web was also unprotected and really looks flawless after last winter outside

Cycas  panzhioluta (Cycas revoluta x Cycas panzhihuaensis)

My sago palm and verbena (Cycas revoluta)

Trachycarpus latisectus

My front yard windmill palm with Yucca gloriosa and Yucca Tromping Around
