My Canna Musafolia Rubra and Calla lilies "Swartburg Giant" have reliably survived each winter planted against the sunny side of my house. Unfortunately I still do not have any signs of life from my Musa basjoo, Mekong Giant, or Hedychium
In the garage, Lantana lost every leaf but is coming back strong. No surprise there if you're a southerner reading this blog - lantana is hard to kill! Fortunately it's not an invasive up here in New York and remains a well behaved annual for now unless it's brought inside.
My Amaryllis bulb is finally going to bloom again! I honestly can't even remember the color! I believe the bulb came from my garden in Florida. It's a MASSIVE bulb and the blooms are going to be such a treat!
Canna Bengal Tiger couldn't help itself - it started growing in my cold dark garage mid winter.
Musa veltuina tried to bloom in the garage and failed, but maybe I'll get some flowers from the pups this summer. We can hope!
Musa sikkimensis ready to go in the ground when the weather ... eventually warms up
The pond area is quickly greening up!
A rainy day helps
